The Workshop
We often think of the heart as a soft and vulnerable place, a sanctuary for tender emotions. But the heart can also be fierce. It holds a strength that fuels our courage to love, to be, and to take bold steps in life. In this Heartbeat workshop, we will explore the duality of the heart: its softness and its power.
A fierce heart doesn't mean a closed heart. On the contrary, it means embracing an openness that is rooted in deep courage. A fierce heart brings with it the capacity to stand strong in the face of fear and to show up for what matters most. It's the courage to love fiercely and live fully. Fierceheartedness guides us toward loving, right action—moving from our hearts, not just our heads.
The heart always knows. While the brain deliberates with "what ifs" and "maybes," the heart speaks clearly, decisively. This workshop will invite you to listen deeply, to trust your heart's wisdom, and to step into the power of its direction. In this space, we will move with the rhythms of fear, anger, sadness, joy and compassion, as we let the fierce heart emerge and lead us.
This is a co-creation of two powerhouse teachers: Sylvie Minot from the West Coast and Ann Kite from the East. Together, they are coming together to hold a deeply transformative space, weaving their unique energies into a dynamic movement journey for both body and heart. Join us for this transformational weekend, as we cultivate both compassion and strength, honoring the heart's true wisdom
The Teachers
Ann Kite, a certified 5Rhythms® teacher, holds an MA in Teaching and has extensive training in both Soul Motion® and behavioral money coaching. With certifications in both the 5Rhythms Waves and Heartbeat levels, Ann has spent over 16 years guiding others on their journeys of personal discovery through movement. Her teaching is a fusion of her rich experience across modalities, offering a grounded yet soulful container for transformation. Ann brings a unique perspective inviting participants to explore their full range of expression while cultivating inner freedom. Known for her intuitive, heart-centered approach, Ann creates spaces where the body, heart, and spirit can connect, heal, and expand. Her work is dynamic, embodying the sacred dance of life, offering both the freedom to move and the wisdom to ground.

Sylvie Minot received her BA in Dance from San Jose State University and a Master's Degree in Theology in Spirituality and Holistic Health. She is a certified 5Rhythms® teacher (Waves and Heartbeat level) trained by founder Gabrielle Roth. She is the founder of Syzygy Dance Project, a non-profit, and since 2010 has brought dance to outreach populations such as veterans, at-risk youths, people in recovery, the elderly, and healthcare professionals. Sylvie has studied psychology, indigenous healing rituals, energy medicine, and sound healing. Since 2000, Sylvie has taught dance classes and workshops throughout the States and around the world. Sylvie is often described as a catalytic shape-shifter because of her ability to meet people right where they are and move with them into new possibilities.
Schedule
The workshop will begin Friday at 7:00pm and end Sunday at 5:00pm. A tentative schedule for dance sessions is below. These times may change during the weekend, but the start and end times for the workshop will not change.

Liability Release Agreement
By registering for this class, I agree to release Ann Kite, Sylvie Minot, and Embodiment Group LLC from any and all liability related to personal injury or illness that may result from my attendance and participation. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my health and well being, and I agree to modify my participation in the class as needed to maintain my health and well being.
Refunds
Refund requests will be granted, minus a $50 fee if received more than 30 days before the workshop.
Refund requests will be granted, minus a 50% fee if received between 30 days to 15 days prior to the workshop.
No refunds will be granted within 15 days of the workshop.
Registration may be transferred to another person free of charge. We cannot provide contact information for potential ticket buyers; it is the ticket holder’s responsibility to find someone to take their ticket.
Event Cancellation
In the event that we cancel this workshop for any reason: a full refund of the payment received from each participant will be made. The organizers will hold no financial responsibility for the participants’ travel expenses or lodging expenses incurred with a third party. Every attempt will be made to give as much prior warning of cancellation as possible.
