If you're a fan of our native pinxter azaleas (Rhododendron canescens), this is a hike you won’t want to miss! Join us for a guided walk along the botanically rich Dunns Farm Trail, known for its breathtaking azalea super-bloom. As we explore this 3.5-mile trail, you'll experience the beauty of open longleaf pine forests, seepage slopes, and deep ravines—some featuring small waterfalls.Be sure to dress appropriately for the hike. We recommend comfortable hiking shoes, a hat, and long sleeves to protect against the sun and insects.
We'll take a midpoint break, so bring snacks or a lunch, along with plenty of water to stay hydrated.
No RSVP in required, everyone is welcome. There is a $2 dollar fee for parking at the; use the QR code to pay at the trailhead kiosk. All fees go to Jennings State Forest.
