Meet at the public boat launch ramp adjacent to Morningstar Marina on St Simons Island: Turn into marina and then make the first right turn and go all the way to the boat launch at the end. This morning there is a very high tide, which brings our 3 resident/wintering saltmarsh sparrows (Nelson’s, Saltmarsh, and Seaside) up to the marsh edge for rare views. Afterwards we’ll bird adjacent areas at Gascoigne Bluff and Epworth by the Sea on St Simons.
