Our field trip destination this month is Tryon Creek State Park, a wonderful place to run in Portland that can be intimidating on first visit due to the complicated tangle of trails. We'll meet a little earlier than usual - 8am - because the parking lot can fill up quick. The initial loop will be 6.5 miles, with the option to add on to get 9.3 miles. Both loops have a mixture of single track dirt trail, paved trail, and a brief road segment for the longer loop. Total elevation gain is 850 feet for the short loop, and 1,200 feet for the long loop. We will go out for breakfast afterward.
