Join us for a coastal birding walk from Blundellsands to the Alt Estuary at Hightown.
Here, the Sefton Coast unveils its autumn charm and spectacular birdlife.
As you walk, you’ll explore the Ribble and Alt Estuaries Special Protection Area.
This stretch hosts internationally important flocks of waders and offers rewarding sightings.
Along the way, follow the Sefton Coastal Path for views of Shelduck and Little Egret.
Meanwhile, dune grasses rustle gently beside the submerged forest at Hightown.
Together, these features promise 30+ species and a rich mix of scenery, history and wildlife.
Whether you’re experienced or curious, migration will unfold before your eyes
