Field Trip: Clinton Lake
Advertisement
Monday, October 12 @ 7:30 am. Clinton Lake. Meet at the Corp of Engineers office at 7:30 a.m. We’ll proceed to the dam where we hope to witness the Franklin’s Gull migration in full swing. We’ll then proceed to Bloomington Park and Clinton State Park as time allows. Though expecting to end by Noon, this trip may be extended, depending on what we find. Bring all the usual gear: binoculars, spotting scopes, water, snacks, field guides, etc. You will need to purchase a park day pass if you do not have one. All ages and levels of birding experience are welcome. We will have a couple of pairs of binoculars to loan, if needed. Questions: contact Mark Land at [email protected] or leave a text or voice mail at 816 590-9814.
