Field to Vase: Flower Arranging at Arcola Trail Flower Farm

Join us for a flower arranging class at Arcola Trail Flower Farm in Stillwater Township!
Participants will take a walking tour of the farm to gain an understanding of the varieties of cut flowers, how they are grown using organic methods, proper stage of harvest and cutting techniques. A design demonstration will give participants tips on color, textures, shapes, and mechanics to incorporate into a seasonal fresh flower design. Participants will then be able to cut some of their own flowers and will create a summer centerpiece arrangement to take home.
Instructor Susan Rockwood is committed to eco-friendly and sustainable farming and design methods. Since she uses organic growing methods without synthetic pesticides, Arcola Trail Flower Farm flowers are safe to handle and the soil, air, water, and pollinators are not harmed.
