Learn innovative ways to use biological inputs in agriculture at this FREE field day at Duncan Family Farms. This event will include an organic farm tour, lunch, and insightful presentations featuring Dr. Pam Marrone, a renowed expert in agricultural biologicals. With a distinguished career dedicated to advancing pest management solutions that protect crops, soil, and human health, Pam is the co-founder and Executive Chair of the Invasive Species Corporation and the Invasive Species Research Institute. On top of that, she is also a Senior Fellow at the ASU Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems.
This event is hosted by the ASU Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems as part of the Arizona Transition to Organic Partnership Program (AZ TOPP) - an initiative to support food producers and handlers across the state in transitioning to organic with mentorship, technical assistance, workforce development, and community building.
TOPP is a nationwide program of the USDA Organic Transition Initiative and is administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP).
