The Athens State University Alumni Association is hosting the Fiddlers 5k Race and Kids Fun Run event. This year, a portion of our proceeds will benefit the Nazaretian Scholarship in honor of Dr. Angeline Nazaretian.
Our USAT certified race route will begin and end at Athens State University, and will showcase the historical district in Athens. Our free Kids fun run will start and end on Athens State Campus, and will be highlighted by an appearance from Hebrew the Bear. Our goal is to showcase the history and beauty of Athens, and provide our community with a family friendly event that everyone can participate in.
The Fiddlers 5k starts at 7 AM and the Kids Fun Run (ages 3-12) starts at 8 AM.
