Fiction Writer Crash Course

Attend a two hour lecture with author Randy Henderson to build your writing skills and learn where the guideposts are on the road to getting your fiction work read by others. Space for this one-time opportunity is extremely limited to only 10 attendees. Coffee is included from Cups Espresso, and remember to bring your favorite way to take notes! Handouts will be provided day-of. Optional worksheets will be emailed to you a week prior for prepping for the session.

Randy Henderson is author of the darkly humorous contemporary fantasy trilogy that includes Finn Fancy Necromancy, Bigfootloose & Finn Fancy Free, and Smells Like Finn Spirit, published by Tor (US) and Titan (UK). He won the 2014 Golden Pen Grand Prize for Writers of the Future, graduated the Clarion West writing workshop in 2009, and his short stories (in the genres of fantasy and social science fiction) have appeared in numerous professional publications.

Randy has experience as a workshop leader, lecturer, and panel participant on the subjects of writing and speculative fiction at events such as Cascade Writers Workshop, Clarion West One-Day Workshops, Bay Area Book Festival, Tucson Festival of Books, WorldCon, World Fantasy Convention, Wondercon, Emerald City Comicon, Denver Comicon, Miscon, Norwescon, publisher book tours, and more.
