In this six week workshop, we will dive into our unique fictions by sharing early drafts, as well as giving and receiving peer feedback. We will ignite our imaginations through discussion, diverse readings, and writing exercises tailored for the group. This will be a space of mutual support, positivity, and safety for all. All experience levels are welcome, sharing is always voluntary. Limited to 8 seats. About the Instructor: Loie Rawding is the author of the hybrid novel, Tight Little Vocal Cords (KERNPUNKT), a Finalist for the Big Other Book Awards and one of Lambda Literary’s Most Anticipated Books of 2020. She is an editor and creative mentor, and co-founder of Fireside Ink. Loie grew up on an island off the coast of Maine. She studied theater in Boston and worked in publishing in New York, before earning an MFA at the University of Colorado where she stayed on to teach undergraduate courses. After seven years in Nashville, TN, Loie recently returned to Boulder with her family and is currently at work on her third novel. Say hello at: www.loierawding.com
