There will be a FREE FHF Football Fun Day with our hometown THREE Time Super Bowl Champ Mecole Hardman, Jr. on Saturday, June 15 at McWilliams Park from 9:00 am until 12:00 sponsored by Friends Helping Friends Club, Inc. assisted by Blue Devil Football and Blue Devil Basketball and Football Cheerleaders. Food vendors will be open until 1:00. There will be four Jumping With Us water slides -managed by Blue Devil football players, Fire truck water spray, EMH tent, EMT’s, Nurses, music, and dance. Local dance teams will also be performing. Mecole will conduct a FREE football mini combine for youth 6-16 years old assisted by ECCHS Blue Devil football players beginning at 9:00 am. (No age limit for FHF kiddos.) Campers will receive a football card with Mecole's best times listed and a certificate with Mecole's printed signature. Mecole will be available for photos. No signature requests at this community event. There is no cost to campers for the mini-combine, water slides and hot dog sack lunch at the Salvation Army Canteen Truck. Also, Papa’s Pizza To Go, Simply Us, Mattnokos, and Kona Ice will have an assortment of foods available for purchase until 1:00.
The public must enter the gate between the office and concession buildings where campers will receive their FREE pass to the football mini-combine, and / or water slides and hot dog lunch available at the Salvation Army Canteen truck. Guardians must be present to sign a registration form for their child to participate in any of these activities. Campers may register/arrive any time between 9 am & 11:30 am and should go directly to the football station or dance tent after registering. FHF/Mecole Logo shirts (with Mecole’s printed signature) will be available for purchase ($10) at the registration table while they last. Registration begins Saturday, June 15th at 8:00 am. Pre-registration is available online at www.FriendsHelpingFriendsClub.com. Scan the QR code on the bottom right of the event flyer. Campers will receive a football card with Mecole's best times listed and a certificate with Mecole's printed signature. Flyers are available at the Chamber of Commerce office at the Civic Center.
