Get cocooned in the charming 100yo sanctuary, make sure this music whirls through and around it. You can take a nice summer stroll through the neighborhood of Forest Hills, before or after or both😏
If you haven’t sung it before, just do the best you can; if you have, take us on the wave with you. Practice as you wish with all the recordings at your digital fingertips, or breezily sight-read (or pretend to). Whichever way, you know you’ll have beautiful music ringing in your head for a while after, which is a happy thing.
For this July, we are ecstatic to have Dr. David Fryling guest conduct our summer sing for the first time😍 You may know already that he is the Director of Choral Activities at Hofstra University; and Director of the eVoco Voice Collective. Our current Director Joslyn and previous Director Ben sing in eVoco…aren’t you curious about our directors’ director??👀
Let’s be beautiful and feel beautiful, create that perfect summer bubble on this Thursday evening🎶 Church-in-the-Gardens is super accessible by subway (E/F/R/M), LIRR (Forest Hills station), and buses; parking permits will be provided at the door.
After this awaits our sumptuous August Summer Sing on 8/18 with our fav summer sing conductor - none other than Dr. James John🙌 $25 for both summer sings to make our July+August musically perfect🌻
