Now - a little bit of background!
Brett Beeson didn't just play college basketball — he dominated it. A two-time MSUM Dragons captain, he led the entire nation in scoring (33.3 ppg), set the all-time school record with 54 points in a single game, and was named NCAA II Player of the Year.
After graduating magna cum laude, he spent 12 years playing professionally in France, Switzerland, Israel, and Spain — racking up two championships, four MVP awards, and six scoring titles along the way.
He's now an MSUM Hall of Famer and NSIC Hall of Famer, and is currently writing a book about the values that shaped his career.

Todd Beeson grew up in Minneapolis just as Prince was building Paisley Park across from his cross-country trails — and the music never let him go.
He picked up the bass in 1988 and spent decades as a premier touring musician, recording three albums with Twin Cities indie staple Wood and performing alongside Dylan Hicks, Marlee MacLeod, and Matt Wilson.
After relocating to LA, he co-wrote and played on the album "Road to Hana" — the debut album by "The Lift" which was shaped by Journey's Steve Perry. The music that Todd has been involved in has landed on NBC's ER and G4's Attack of the Show.
Today he records and performs under the moniker "Marvelty," collaborating with musicians from Beck, Alice in Chains, Better Than Ezra, The Who, and Ben Harper's band.

One Beeson conquered the court. The other conquered the stage. Join us as Full Frontal Nerdity sits down with both of them.
