Festive Sip & Paint Candle Painting Workshop - December 2026
About this Event
Gather your friends for the ultimate creative night out in Hertfordshire this festive season! Hosted at the cosy Verulam pub in St Albans, these beginner-friendly Christmas crafting workshops offer the perfect blend of festive fun, relaxation, and hands-on creativity.
Whether you are looking for a unique ladies' night out, a festive get-together, or a mindful evening making personalized handmade gifts, our sip and paint sessions provide everything you need. Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival, all premium art materials, and your beautifully finished creations to take home at the end of the night.
Make a full night of it! The Verulam's kitchen is open from 5pm, so feel free to arrive early and enjoy a delicious meal before we start crafting.
With a relaxed, self-guided atmosphere, you are free to follow our provided inspiration or let your imagination run wild.
Using premium, non-toxic water-based paints, you will design and decorate your own set of beautiful taper candles. From delicate floral motifs and traditional holly leaves to abstract festive patterns, you will learn how to prep the candles and paint for an effective finish. This sip and paint class is a fantastic way to unwind, enjoy a drink, and create bespoke homeware that will light up your Christmas dinner table or make a thoughtful handmade gift.
