Get ready for the most magical season of the year! The much-loved and ever-popular festive markets are back at King’s Cross for 2024 bringing with them a spectacular line-up of eight markets to fulfil all those Christmas shopping and gifting needs.
From 21 November to 22 December King’s Cross will be buzzing with festive energy with each market showcasing an exceptional range of gifts from independent homeware fashion beauty food arts and crafts brands.
After its successful debut last year the much-loved lifestyle retailer TOAST is once again returning to Coal Drops Yard for 2024. From 6 – 22 December every Friday to Sunday the TOAST market will celebrate creativity and craftmanship. Visitors can peruse a collection of one-of-a-kind gifts and decorations handcrafted by TOAST’s community of makers. Embrace the brand’s mission of inspiring a more thoughtful way of life with considerate and sustainable gifts.
The Christmas markets will whisk visitors away on a cultural extravaganza unique to King’s Cross offering a vibrant and diverse experience and immersing visitors in the rich traditions of Mexico and Japan. The Mexican Market hosted by Coal Drops Yard’s very own Casa Pastor and Plaza Pastor will be bursting with warmth and colour featuring clothing jewellery ornaments crafts piñatas and a roaming cumbia band. Meanwhile the Shotengai Christmas Market will provide a taste of Japan with a delightful array of pan-Asian homeware and food supporting small businesses and independent retailers.

Lower Stable Street Market: 21 November - 22 December Lower Stable Street
This B Corp certified Lower Stable Street Market returns for 2024 with a stellar line-up of traders offering food drinks homeware art books and clothing. Perfect for all shoppers especially the environmentally conscious this market provides a stress-free experience with eco-friendly choices. Open Thursdays and Fridays from 12pm to 7pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm.
Christmas under the Canopy: 29 November - 22 December West Handyside Canopy
The much-loved Christmas under the Canopy market returns once again offering a brilliant selection of London’s best artisan traders and food stalls which can be enjoyed Tuesday through to Sunday and Monday 16 December. Wander under a canopy of stars and festive lights and warm yourself up with some mulled wine or cider whilst enjoying the sounds of live music playing as you find the perfect gift for loved ones.
Mexican Christmas Market: 29 November - 1 December Coal Drops Yard
Hosted by Coal Drops Yard restaurants Casa Pastor and Plaza Pastor the Mexican Christmas Market returns for another year bringing a vibrant cultural experience to King’s Cross. Enjoy family fun with piñatas and a lively roaming cumbia band while exploring artisanal Mexican clothing accessories ornaments and crafts from independent artists and designers. This market is the perfect place to find unique Mexican-inspired gifts for your loved ones this Christmas.
TOAST Festive Market: 6 - 22 December Coal Drops Yard
British lifestyle brand TOAST is taking over Coal Drops Yard once again with its festive market after its successful debut last year. Visitors will find a curation of distinctive handcrafted and sustainably made lifestyle trinkets across 12 stalls from ceramics and textiles to candles jewellery and stationery. TOAST continues to celebrate creativity and craftmanship while providing a wide variety of gift options for the sustainably conscious shopper. The market will run Friday through Sunday each week.
Vegan Christmas Market at Christmas under the Canopy: 6 - 8 December West Handyside Canopy
Hosting a wide variety of vegan stallholders the Vegan Christmas market will feature an exciting range of vegan food produce skincare and homewares all made by small businesses and local makers. Visitors can expect everything from street food to artisanal products an excellent market to gather wonderful goodies with a clear conscious. The market will be open to all visitors from Friday through to Sunday in the first week of December.
Illustrators Fair: 7 December The Crossing
Immerse yourself in a wonderland of creativity and cheer as London’s largest illustration fair returns to King’s Cross for the festive season. Crafty Fox Markets: 8 14 & 15 December The Crossing
Renowned for supporting emerging designers makers and artists the Crafty Fox Christmas Market is making its return to King’s Cross.
