Come along to Ravenglass Parish Hall for a festive glass-making session! Create gifts and decorations for friends and family, or maybe just for yourself.
On this course you will:
- Learn how to use tools to cut and break glass safely
- Understand what happens to glass during the firing process
- Use different forms of glass to create patterns, textures and images
- Use foils and other materials to create interesting reactions in glass
I will take the creations away for firing and arrange drop off/collections at a later date.
£85 for the full day or £75 if booked and paid in advance; this is inclusive of all materials, additional fixings to finish off your pieces and light refreshments. The workshop time includes approximately 1 hour for a lunch stop, during which you are welcome to go out to purchase food, or alternately you may wish to bring your own.
Children are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult.
