Welcome to Festive Cyanotype Printing!
Come join us at Shutter Studios for a festive and creative event where you can create your own unique cyanotype prints.
This hands-on workshop will teach you how to use sunlight/UV light (weather depending) to create beautiful blue prints on paper.
What is Cyanotype?
Cyanotype is a photographic solution that when it is exposed to UV light it reacts. For example: the solution is brushed onto paper, put some objects or dried flowers and then exposed to UV light to create a print.
No experience is necessary - just bring your creativity - OPTIONAL : any 2D interesting shapes cut-outs of stencils. Everything will be provided.
Get ready to get messy and make some one-of-a-kind prints or christmas cards to take home. Cyanotype solution will stain clothes, so please bare this in mind before putting on your best frock.
