Festive Crafts: Decoration Painting Workshop

Celebrate festivities with us, during our decoration painting workshop! In collaboration with artist and sculptor Jodie Atkinson.
About this Event

Jodie Atkinson is an artist and sculptor based in Manchester, she sculpts with clay and casts her artworks. Every plaque is entirely sculpted, moulded and cast by hand.

Now its your turn to add the colour! Enjoy our festive themed workshop, where you'll choose your own festive decoration to paint.

You’ll be in safe hands guided by Jodie.. From colour mixing to painting techniques you’ll be helped at any stage. All painting tools and materials you need to decorate your plaque will be available. And don’t worry… you’ll also receive a handy practice sheet featuring your design to help ease you in.

The best part? You’ll be able to take your festive decoration home after the workshop! Because they are cast in plaster, no kiln drying is needed. They’re ready to go when you are.

Please note:

By attending, you’re opting in to workshop photography, which may be shared on our social media. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, please let us know via email or on the day.

Workshops are for ages 16+ due to equipment and health & safety considerations.
