Festival Vallenato - A special night celebrating one of the most popular and unique musical genre of Colombia!Binomio de Oro de América, one of Colombia’s most beloved Vallenato bands, was founded in 1976 by the legendary Israel Romero and Rafael Orozco. They quickly became a cornerstone of the genre, making them stars in Latin music history.
The co-founders, Israel Romero (known as “El Pollo Isra,”), is a master accordionist whose skills and charismatic stage presence have been central to the group’s success, and the late Rafael Orozco a gifted singer with a voice that captivated audiences. The group created many stars in the genre, notably Jean Carlos Centeno and Jorge Celedon, that they are know as "La Universidad del Vallenato".
Over the last decades, Binomio de Oro has released a string of hits that solidified their place in Colombian music history. Their extensive repertoire and influence have made them ambassadors of Vallenato music internationally.
This event will be a special celebration and will also feature the UK's Zona Vallenata UK band featuring José Hernando Arias, plus DJs Will and Jhon Parrandisimo keeping everyone dancing.
