Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. It is produced by Woodfordia Inc in partnership with many other wonderful Australian festivals, regional partners and great lovers and supporters of folk and contemporary acoustic music.Elgin Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Wadandi People.
In 2023, Elgin Hall celebrated its 90th birthday.
The Capel region is renowned for its ancient jarrah and tuart forests, and 29km of beaches dotted with dramatic dunes. Roughly halfway between the centres of Bunbury and Busselton, and nestled on the Capel River, you’ll find the region.
Festival of Small Halls returns to Elgin on Friday, 23 August 2024 with Jed Parsons (NZ) and Alana Wilkinson (AUS).
Tickets are priced at:
Full Admission – $30
Concession Admission (Pensioners, Health Card Holders, Student) – $25
All tickets include dinner and dessert.
Soup (pumpkin, minestrone or pea and ham, bread roll) will be served from 6:00pm
Tea and coffee, and dessert (slice) at interval.
