Join us for all the Merriment as we kick off the holiday season with our Festival of Lights Parade, Kris Kringle Market and Visits w/ Santa on Saturday, November 30th, 2024!Prior to the parade and tree lighting, attend a Kris Kringle Market located at the Community Garden Green, located at 17 E. School Ct, Fox Lake, IL from 3 - 6 p.m. The market will feature artisan holiday food and gifts for sale. If you'd like to be a vendor, please download and fill out the application below. We will be accepting one vendor per type of items sold. Please, no MLMs.
The parade will start at 5 p.m. at Grant Community High School. Immediately following the parade there will be the Annual Tree Lighting and opening of the Santa Cottage at Millennium Park, located at 6 Rollins Rd, Fox Lake, IL at 6pm. Visits with Santa will be from 6-8pm when he arrives from the parade.
The Santa Cottage will also have visiting hours on Saturdays until Christmas. Visiting Hours will be 3-5pm on 12/7 and 12/21. Santa will also be at the Children's Holiday Party on Sunday, December 15th from 1-3pm at the Lakefront Park Gym.
The Festival of Lights Parade starts at Grant Community High School (285 E Grand Ave) and makes its way down Grand Avenue into Downtown Fox Lake, IL. Lineup begins at 4 p.m. with the parade starting at 5 p.m. Participants are encouraged to decorate and light up their floats and cars! The more lights – the better!
