We're running it back! Basically same as last year...Here's the plan: there ain't much of a plan!
Fest Tony says Tom Petty Park is the best spot for this, and in 2024 we found a nice shady spot. It's near the parking lot, see image for map. Let's meet at 10:30am and aim to be done by noon.
Rules: Not much in the way of rules!
- All Fest Punks are welcome.
- Probably do 3v3 or 4v4 depending on who shows. I think it should be 3-touch with no tackling. Standard Fair Play pick-up soccer with fun and sportsmanship in mind.
- Your team should have a uniform or at least wear a white tee, black tee, etc. Coordinate! You're a team!
- Your team will have to attend one (1) Fest set in uniform or you will be retroactively DQ'd.
- If The Bouncing Souls don't show up, they can never play "Olé" ever again.
- Be very cool to everyone, duh.
Please let folks know that we are accepting more teams! Bring your boots! Anyone who can bring a ball, cones, pop-up goals are welcome to.
Let's knock the ball around for an hour or so and go see some bands! Please share this event!
