Get ready to dance and support an awesome cause (a rare genetic disorder, DDX3X Syndrome) with an family-friendly Esquimalt block party + concert featuring the band Queer as Funk!
Join us on June 13th from 2:00–5:00 pm for an uplifting afternoon of community, music, and meaningful impact. Headlining the event is the electrifying band Queer As Funk, bringing high-energy live funk music to get everyone moving! (the concert will start at 3pm).
In addition to the concert, enjoy:
- A silent auction featuring gift cards and donated items from local small businesses,
- A silent auction of vibrant artwork created by local children
- A sweet-and-savory bake sale
- A Greek food truck serving crowd favorites
- Hazel’s popsicles for sweet treats

- Transportation: please consider biking or walking to our event! We will have bike parking.
- Car Parking: Fernhill Road (from Philross Park to Lampson) will be closed for the event, please park on Old Esquimalt Road or where legally allowed on adjacent streets.
- Although we prefer if you buy a ticket in advance,
tickets will be available to be purchased at the event with cash and online (on eventbrite!)
