We'll do the cooking for you this Thanksgiving when you order Hometown Restaurant Group's Ferndale Friendsgiving Feast. This heat-and-serve meal includes a whole turkey, sides and dessert for $225. Additionally, 10-percent ($22.50) of each meal sold will be donated to Lighthouse Michigan to benefit the Royal Oak Sanctuary shelter for teens.
Each meal includes a whole turkey (8-10 pounds) slowly smoked by Tigerlily's Chef Bruce; mashed potatoes (by Pop's for Italian); stuffing (by One-Eyed Betty's); turkey gravy (by Tigerlily); green beans (by One-Eyed Betty's); baked macaroni and cheese (from Tigerlily); cranberry sauce (from Pop's for Italian); (2) garlic loaves (from Pop's for Italian); and a whole pumpkin pie. Items will be fully cooked, packaged and refrigerated for pickup at Pop's for Italian (280 W. 9 Mile Road) on Wednesday, November 26, between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
