Are you interested in learning more about fermented foods or wanting to develop your existing knowledge?
Come and join us here on the farm where you'll learn how to make fermented coleslaw, carrots and berries.
You’ll gain an understanding of the basic principles of fermentation, including food safety and how to confidently continue experimenting at home.
All ingredients will be provided, tasting samples will be available, and you’ll be able to take home everything you make during the session. You’ll also receive free handouts, including step-by-step recipes, so you can recreate everything in your own kitchen.
The workshop will be run by Eliza and Carol, the passionate mother-and-daughter team behind Romsey Crop Swap, who are dedicated to self-sufficiency, reducing waste, and reviving traditional preservation skills. Their friendly, down-to-earth approach makes this session perfect for beginners and curious cooks alike.
