Join us at Indie Füde for an immersive, hands-on workshop led by fermentation expert Gayle from Farm Ferments. Together we'll explore the principles behind successful fermentation while creating a selection of delicious ferments, including traditional sauerkraut, aromatic caraway carrots, spicy kimchi and wild fermented ginger beer.
Throughout the afternoon you'll enjoy plenty of opportunities to taste, ask questions and get involved. We'll explore the flavours, textures and techniques that make fermented foods so special, while learning how to confidently recreate them at home.
As part of the experience, we'll also enjoy a guided cheese and ferment pairing with Laura. Discovering how Irish artisan cheeses can be transformed by the addition of carefully matched ferments. Expect surprising flavour combinations and plenty of inspiration for your own cheeseboards and entertaining.
