Fermentation - Sauerkraut making workshop
About this Event
An Outdoor Fermentation Workshop: Learn the basics of fermentation to make sauerkraut, and more..
Are you curious about fermentation? Do you want to learn how to preserve produce organically, minimise food waste, and enhance your gut health? If so, join us for an outdoor workshop where we’ll try to harvest fresh produce grown on-site alongside locally brought produce and take home a fermented jar of your own. The workshop will take place on Saturday 12th September at Marbury Road Edible Garden, hosted by Shaleem.
Beyond its health benefits, fermentation helps preserve crop yield, reduce food waste, and maximise harvests. This workshop is designed to connect with your community, share knowledge, and celebrate wholesome organic locally harvested food.
This workshop is a hands-on fermentation session at Marbury Road Edible Garden. Shaleem’s specific style and experience will inspire you to bring fermentation into your daily life.
As we work to bring more engaging and educational events to our area, we welcome donations to support our community initiatives. Your generosity helps us host future workshops and activities.
For questions or to RSVP, feel free to reach out. If anyone would like to attend but the price is a barrier, please email [email protected] for an accessible price discount code.
