Ready to learn one of the oldest and simplest methods of preserving food?
Join us at The Gathering Place for Fermentation 101, a beginner friendly demonstration all about the art and science of fermentation!
We’ll walk through the fermentation process from start to finish, including how lacto fermentation works, food safety, choosing ingredients, salt ratios, troubleshooting, storage, and how to know when your ferment is ready.
You’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to start fermenting at home, PLUS everyone will receive a fermenting tool to take home and use for future ferments!
No experience necessary. Come curious and ready to learn!
