Feral Fever Presents: Puppets and Poppycock

(Scene: A grand, overly dramatic stage. A serious announcer stands at a podium, clearing his throat. Behind him, a man in a chicken suit repeatedly falls off a ladder for no apparent reason.)

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, noble gentlefolk, and confused passersby! We have gathered here today for a most momentous occasion! For lo, our humble band of misfits has grown! And with it, our unbridled ambition! (A small trumpet sounds, but it’s out of tune and collapses in on itself.)

(Dramatic music swells, only to be interrupted by an overly enthusiastic kazoo solo.)

And so, we celebrate the 40th rounding of the sun for the one, the only— Anita Boner! (Trumpets again, but this time a goose honks instead.)

Yes! She who has requested a theme so befitting her delightfully twisted sense of humor, a theme so unholy it has shaken the very foundation of taste and decency! A theme that combines the anarchic absurdity of the Muppets with the, well… anarchic absurdity of Monty Python. In short: A show where nothing is sacred— especially chickens!

(A woman dressed as a giant chicken runs across the stage screaming, pursued by a mob wielding rubber fish. A brief scuffle ensues, ending with the chicken tap-dancing offstage.)

But my dear audience, this is no mere show. No, no, no! (Thunder crash. Dramatic pause.)

This is a WHOLE NIGHT EXPERIENCE!

(Cue massive banner drop that immediately gets tangled around an unsuspecting stagehand.)

Highlights include!

🥂 Dinner Theater! Yes, friends, we shall ply you with Tapas-style small plates (including dietary-restriction-friendly options—we are not complete savages). These dishes shall be delivered to your table as our performers subtly and respectfully RILE YOU INTO A FRENZY!

🎶 ALL live music! No dancer shall be without a singer! No singer without a dancer! No performer without some manner of unhinged, glorious entertainment crammed into every second! (Cue someone trying to juggle flaming banjos while tap-dancing.)

💃 A whole night experience! Bring a date! Bring a friend! Bring a gaggle of friends! By the end of the night, you’ll be exhilarated, exhausted, and grinning like a lunatic, unsure whether it was the show, the company, or the tapas that have changed you forever.

But one thing is certain—it will be worth it.

(Finale: The entire cast bursts into a ridiculous, over-the-top song-and-dance number, ending in a dramatic bow. A chicken parachutes onto the stage. Curtain falls.)

Entertainment will be provided by the Feral Fever Theater Collective, inspired by the outlandish humor of Monty Python Sketch Comedy.
