Fenwick & the Futures is an independent cosmic emo and alternative rock band based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Founded by singer, songwriter, and Emmy-winning screen composer Nate Fenwick Smith, the project blends atmospheric rock with space-themed lore, community storytelling, and an immersive user experience.
The band's name comes from the Old English word Fenwick, meaning "water meadow landing place". Founder Nate Smith describes Earth as our small "water meadow" planet where we have temporarily landed to discover our future selves—making everyone in the audience a "Future".
