Femme Cinema Screenings

Step into Femme Cinema — a cozy, curated film experience celebrating diasporic storytelling, art house cinema, animation, and indie gems. This limited-seat screening series features a mix of full-length films and short film blocks exploring themes of identity, memory, imagination, resistance, and emotional truth.

Held every Tuesday evening at the Indigo Residence Theater in Newark, each night offers space for connection, reflection, and intentional viewing. Seating is limited to 8–10 guests, but you're welcome to bring your own floor pillows or cushions and get comfy on the floor for an even more relaxed experience. Bring your favorite snacks, BYOB, and settle in for visual storytelling that lingers long after the credits roll.
