Feminist Clowns Aaaaaassemble!!!!We are kicking off the hotly anticipated Term 2 of Feminist Clown Posse for 2024. This term, we are diving into the wonderfully delicious, outrageously naughty, and cuttingly disruptive Bouffon. We're here to destroy the bastards, and we ride at dawn! (Well, specifically we will 6.30-8.30pm Wednesday nights).
Our term will finish with an open class, where you can invite friends and family to come to see what we've been up to and share some kai and seasons merriment.
This class is open to all body which means they/thems, she/hers and (yes!) he/hims and everything in between.
Everyone has the right to feel safe and take risks. This is a safe space for queer, straight, non-binary and trans folks, and I take the safety of my students seriously. The only rule is, 'You can have a dick; just don't be a dick', and I am the referee of this :)
You do not have to have previously trained with us, or studied clown or performance, but you must come ready to play!
This term, there will be a small cost of $10 per class to cover my costs, but please DM me if that's at all an issue.
