This month’s Coffee Connection is hosted and sponsored by Revive Physical Therapy and Wellness, a practice devoted to helping individuals restore strength, function, and confidence through holistic, whole-body care.

Founded by Dr. Courtney Buhrow, Revive was built from a deep commitment to treating the whole person — recognizing that our physical health is inseparable from our mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Dr. Courtney grew up in Cedar Falls and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa before moving to Des Moines to attend physical therapy school at Des Moines University. She and her husband, Travis, planted roots in the area and are now raising their three children in Waukee.

When she’s not supporting patients in the clinic, you’ll likely find Courtney spending time with her family, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, or diving into a great book or podcast. She is energized by meaningful conversation, lifelong learning, and a little friendly competition — whether that’s board games, sports, or time on the golf course. A fan of women’s basketball, she especially loves cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Indiana Fever.

Revive Physical Therapy and Wellness specializes in pelvic floor therapy for both women and men, offering care that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and rooted in identifying the true cause of discomfort rather than simply treating symptoms. Their team supports individuals through seasons such as pregnancy, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and prostate health, while also addressing concerns like pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, hip and back pain, neck and jaw tension, and more.

The Revive team will be joining us that morning and will be available for conversation if you have questions about pelvic health, whole-body wellness, or your own care journey.
