Sally Wilson - Caterpillar Cross Stitch

Sally Wilson is the founder and Creative Director of Caterpillar Crafts, a leading ecommerce brand specialising in cross stitch and crochet kits. The brand is known for its modern, colourful and beginner-friendly kits, supplies and accessories. She is a qualified lawyer, having practiced law for 8 years; she turned her lifelong passion for crafts into a thriving business. With over 25 years stitching and 10 years’ experience in business and marketing, Sally regularly appears on TV shopping channels and the BBC, is a published author and hosts events for hundreds of crafters annually both in person and online. Sally has received a variety of awards and regularly contributes to and is featured in print and digital magazines. Sally lives with her husband and two young children in rural Warwickshire, UK.

Nitika Vyas - Aila Money

Warwick Alumni ( Bsc MORSE 2005-2008) Nitika Vyas, CFA, spent 15+ years in investment-banking and hedge-fund roles; from trader to COO. After wrestling with her own finances and witnessing money-stress while volunteering for mental-health charities, she channelled that experience into Aila Money: Your Money PT. Her mission is to give women the financial clarity, control and confidence to build the lives they deserve. Aila Money is a free app that acts like a personal trainer for your wallet, guiding women towards financial strength and helping close the gender-wealth gap.

This event is hosted by the Female Founders Start Up Initiative, which is a collaboration between The University of Warwick and NatWest, specifically designed to support female founders of start-up businesses across the West Midlands.

Offering free support and guidance, our schedule of monthly in-person and online workshops and meet-ups will provide connection, inspiration and practical support as you start, grow, and scale your business.
