Join us as we host a BYOB craft and sip (40 seats available) and a the proceeds will go towards a local charity or cause. Come create with us while supporting your community. This event will be a felted gingerbread workshop!CASA's mission is to empower and support dedicated volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children involved in the child welfare system, helping them find safe, permanent homes and the opportunity to thrive.
At La Salle County CASA, we believe that every child has the right to grow up in a safe, stable, and nurturing home. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates—trained community volunteers appointed by a judge to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. These children are navigating the complex child welfare system, and our advocates make sure their voices are heard.
Our program recruits, trains, and supports volunteers from all walks of life who are passionate about making a difference. Each CASA volunteer is assigned to a child or sibling group and becomes a consistent presence—someone who listens, learns their story, and advocates for their best interests in court and in the community.
