About this Event
Create a one-of-a-kind felted basket designed entirely by you, for you. In this hands-on wet felting class, you’ll shape wool and natural fibers into a lightweight yet durable vessel that moves seamlessly between forest foraging, farmers' markets, and everyday creative use.
Each basket is truly unique—formed through your own color choices, fiber placement, and shaping process—resulting in a functional piece that reflects your personal style and needs.
This is a physically engaging class that involves standing, rolling, and applying steady arm pressure throughout the felting process. Making it ideal for those ready to fully immerse themselves in the craft. Designed for everyone and all skill levels, this workshop highlights the strength, versatility, and beauty of wool while creating something you’ll reach for again and again—whether gathering mushrooms, carrying produce, or holding your creative tools. You will leave with the skillset to make baskets and other felted items for all your storage needs!
Feel free to bring a small/medium favorite handle shape branch or two. There will be a variety of options for handles for participants to choose from
