A fun day workshop suited to complete beginners. Experiment and explore wet felt-making with a variety of wool and plant fibres. Learn how to use carders to make a colourful textural felted picture.Held in my Studio in Fletchers Mill at Dean Clough, Halifax, West Yorkshire.
Lots of samples of felt making. We start with a practical demonstration of felt-making, an exploration of all the different wool and plant fibres that I have available for you to use.

Then you can make a felted wool picture, seascape, landscape, floral or abstract. Select from a wide choice of gorgeous coloured wools, plant fibres and textural yarns. Explore blending and mixing wool colours and different fibres together. Learn about the properties of wool and plant fibres and embedding them into the surface to create texture and form in your picture.
Small class. Suitable for all, especially beginners.
£75 includes all materials and equipment use.
