About this Event

This Summer Holiday, we are running a wide range of exciting creative workshops for all ages! The Wonderful Workshop Weekender coincides with our current Gallery exhibition, The Magic Show.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This session with Leigh Bowser and Heather from Pyramid will focus on felting and sculpting your own magical creature inspired by Heather's Little Guy Garden - currently featured in the Gallery as part of The Magic Show.

Heather is a Pyramid artist who enjoys lots of art forms, with an interest in character design, textiles and cats. Her Little Guy Garden project features a series of shy creatures that go about their daily life; growing, photosynthesising, learning and helping their own fruit and veggie community.

During this workshop, you will create your own magical creature, vegetable, mineral or otherwise! You will learn felting techniques and create a fun personality for your new fuzzy friend.

This session is aimed at ages 12-18 and their caregivers.

All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all time. Caregivers are encouraged to book their own spot and take part in the workshop.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Henshaws & Pyramid to provide transport and payment to their facilitators and artists.

Ticket prices are on a sliding scale, so please donate as much as you are comfortable with.

If you are unable to take part in the workshop, but would like to support the session and provide a subsidised ticket for a local teenager, there is an option to make a donation on the ticket page.
