Felt & Stitch – Felt Ornament Making Social

Fancy spending your Sunday morning making something soft, colourful, and irresistibly cute? Join us for Felt & Stitch - a cosy felt art workshop where you’ll create your own handmade felt ornaments using a beautiful mix of colours, textures, and tiny details.
Whether you love slow, mindful crafting or you’re simply looking for a fun, creative session with lovely company, this workshop is the perfect way to unwind and make something you’ll be proud to take home!
You’ll be able to choose from three gorgeous ornament designs, each one beginner‑friendly and easy to personalise with your own colours and embellishments.
💜 What we’ll be doing 💜
You’ll create your own felt ornament from scratch, using a curated selection of materials, including:

• Soft felt in a range of colours
• Embroidery threads for stitching and detail
• Beads for sparkle and texture
• Stuffing for shaping your ornament
• Templates to guide your design
• Needles, scissors, and all tools provided
  

You’ll learn how to cut, layer, stitch, and embellish your piece - and you’ll leave with a finished ornament that’s completely handmade by you.
(If you have any special beads, charms, or trims you’d love to include, feel free to bring them along!)

Tickets are £15 per person, which helps cover room hire, set‑up, and all materials.

Spaces are limited due to venue capacity, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

All of our events take place at Fairkytes Arts Centre.
Please note there is no on‑site parking, but you can park for free at Sainsbury’s car park on Sundays, directly opposite the venue.
