“Feline” like you need a purr-fect hobby? Come decorate sugar cookies!

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Wayward Cookies is here to help! In this 1.5-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile.

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating six feline-themed cookies – sign up for a claw-some time!

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

This class is on February 1 from 2:30 - 4:15 p.m. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 30 people!

This class is good for ages 7 and above, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home.

The class will be held at the Kansas City Public Library - Plaza location, located at 4801 Main Stree in Kansas City. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is pretty easy and free.

**A little about me – I’ve been baking sugar cookies since 2021 – and I’ve not put down a scribe since (don’t know what a scribe is? I’ll teach you in class!). I love what I do –who wouldn’t love making cookies?! It’s the sweetest job in the world!
