Join us for an unforgettable afternoon celebrating Brazilian culture, food, music, and community at our annual Feijoada Cultural Event, hosted in partnership with Fernando's Mexican and Brazilian Cuisine and benefiting Partners of the Americas – Indiana Chapter.

At the heart of this event is feijoada, Brazil’s most iconic and beloved dish.

Feijoada is a slow-cooked black bean stew, traditionally prepared over many hours with a rich combination of pork and beef, resulting in deep, layered flavors that reflect patience, craftsmanship, and care. Historically, feijoada was meant to be shared, served in large pots, bringing families and communities together around the table.

Prepared by the team at Fernando’s Mexican and Brazilian Cuisine, this feijoada honors tradition while delivering a warm, satisfying experience that pairs perfectly with conversation, music, and laughter.

No Brazilian gathering is complete without a toast.

Throughout the event, beer and authentic caipirinhas will be available for purchase. Made with cachaça, fresh lime, and sugar, the caipirinha is Brazil’s national cocktail, simple, refreshing, and unmistakably Brazilian.

Whether you choose a cold beer or a classic caipirinha, you’ll find the drinks perfectly suited to a relaxed afternoon of good food and great company.

This feijoada supports the work of Partners of the Americas – Indiana Chapter, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building long-lasting partnerships between Indiana and communities across Latin America and the Caribbean, especially in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
