Feel & Create: Storytime and Emotions Event

Join us for a heartfelt and creative afternoon with author Yasmine, as she shares her book, “It’s Okay to Feel”, inspired by her niece—who will be joining as a special guest! This event, hosted in partnership with Healthy Baby, is perfect for children aged 1 to 4, offering age-appropriate activities that foster emotional expression and creativity.

📖 Event Highlights:

• Storytime with Yasmine: Experience an engaging reading of “It’s Okay to Feel”, exploring emotions and the importance of expressing how we feel.
• 🎨 Interactive Illustration Workshop: After the reading, Chelsea Petrozzo, founder of The Wonderers Education, will lead a Feelings Card class centered on independent play, creativity, and emotional expression.
• • Kids can create their own “Today I Feel” book, illustrating different emotions through fun and interactive activities.
  • For those who prefer freeform art, we’ll have handouts with blank faces, allowing children to draw and explore emotions at their own pace.
