Feeding Educators: sofreh/sofra
About this Event
Feeding Educators: sofreh/sofra
With Alize Zorlutuna and Golboo Amani
We are excited to invite you to sofreh/sofra, our first public program from the series Feeding Educators (FEEDED) led by Safaa Alnabelseya and Dana Prieto. This iteration of FEEDED invites participants to a collective sofreh/sofra hosted by Golboo Amani and Alize Zorlutuna. Both sacred altar, and everyday spread — wrapped in a cloth, carried and laid out, sofreh/sofra is a gathering of ingredients, nourishing playful curiosity, embodied presence and generosity.
Unfolding in movements, a meal becomes a space for world building, learning and practicing ways of being together, where food is a teacher/gateway/informer, and collective care, and futures are interwoven.
