The Feeding 500+ Thanksgiving Meal Distribution is the heart of the campaign—a community coming together to make sure 500+ local families have a Thanksgiving meal to bring home and share with the people they love.
On distribution day, families will arrive at a welcoming, organized community event where volunteers, community partners, and Be The Change Ohio team members will work together to provide complete Thanksgiving meal packages.
But this event is about more than distributing food.
It is about creating an experience where families feel welcomed, respected, and supported. Volunteers will help with check-in, meal distribution, loading assistance, and creating a positive experience for everyone who attends.
The event will also help introduce families and community members to the important work of the Fairfield Food Pantry, raising awareness that food insecurity doesn't disappear after Thanksgiving—and that local resources are available throughout the year.
Behind every meal is a simple message:
You matter. Your family matters. And your community cares.
With the help of local businesses, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and community organizations, Feeding 500+ will turn Thanksgiving generosity into direct impact—putting food on tables and bringing people together.
