Portland’s Federale bring their cinematic, spaghetti-Western noir to Berlin, joined by special guests and singer Megan Diana and Las Flores del Underground.
Over the past two decades, Federale have crafted a sound that feels lifted from an alternate 1971 — moody, reverb-drenched and steeped in Ennio Morricone-style drama, yet shaped by the baritone romanticism of Lee Hazlewood and Leonard Cohen. Led by Collin Hegna (also of The Brian Jonestown Massacre), the band now expands its palette on their latest album Reverb and Seduction, weaving in flashes of psychedelic rock, gothic tones, and fuzz-laden intensity — without losing their signature widescreen atmosphere. Their music has recently appeared in film trailers and international productions, further cementing their cult status.
They are joined by Megan Diana, whose haunting vocals and dark, vintage-tinged songwriting channel folk noir and psychedelic balladry, adding an intimate and hypnotic dimension to the evening.
