WHO: All levels of investors are welcome, from newbies to the well-seasoned. For those of you that are also vendors, please respect that this is a *no sales allowed* kind of meeting.
WHERE: Square Peg Pizzeria, 1001 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT 06033. The fee for all attendees is $30 which includes pizzas, salad, wings, a fountain drink, tax + gratuity. Alcoholic and other specialty beverages are available for an additional fee. Attendees will pay our room server directly. #BeAgreatTipper
WHEN: We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
* 6:30pm - Arrive on time so you can enjoy some food + convos before we start intros
* 7:00pm - Friendly, roundtable-style intros start
* 7:30-8:30pm - We'll have the room until 8:30pm after which you're welcome to continue connecting at the bar for a drinks, a dessert, or a desserty-drink!

FAQs
* Should I really be coming to every meeting or is it okay to come when I can? You are absolutely welcome, any time or every time. Come as often as you like, but remember a consistent presence is what will build the relationships that are the true value of this meetup.
* I own a business that's relevant to the people at this meetup, what do you mean by it being a 'no sales allowed' kind of meeting? Awesome - you should definitely come! What we mean by 'no sales allowed' is that we adopt the 'GIVE-GIVE-GET' mentality and aim to be of service first. Bottom line, showing up once pushing business cards and services on everyone isn't going to feel good to anyone (including you). That also won't get the outcome you want: valuable relationships of people who want to work with and refer to you. Relationships are built over time with consistent connection.
* Is there really a fee...for everyone? What if I come late, or if I already ate/don't want to partake in the food part? We understand, however the only way we could secure a consistent venue is to begin including food and requiring a fee for all attendees, regardless of what time you come or whether or not you choose to partake in the food. So come hungry :) We understand that this is a notable change and we appreciate your understanding.
* Where do I go when I get to Square Peg and how do payments work? There is a free parking lot for the plaza. Come in through the front entrance and let the hostess know you're here for the REI meetup. Our meeting room is in the back left corner of the restaurant, next to the outdoor patio. We will have a dedicated server in the room who will take your payment directly for the meal fee as well as any drink orders (alcoholic and specialty beverages are additional). Remember to check with your CPA as these events may be a business write off for you.
* What if I have dietary restrictions/allergies, can accommodations be made? Not at this time, unfortunately, however vegetarian options are available. If you have questions, please reach out to us.
* I see the meeting runs 6:30pm-8:30pm, is it okay to stay later? Always. You're welcome to continue your conversations in the bar area after our meetup - happy connecting!
