Join us for our February Monthly Luncheon featuring Colonel Terrance “Terry” Holmes, Wing Commander of the 90th Missile Wing, and Chief Master Sergeant Cherise L. Mosley, Command Chief of the 90th Missile Wing at F.E. Warren Air Force Base.Colonel Holmes leads more than 4,200 military, civilian, and contractor personnel who operate, maintain, and secure 150 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, providing a critical component of the nation’s nuclear deterrence mission. A career missileer, Colonel Holmes has served across nearly every level of the Nuclear Enterprise, including squadron, group, MAJCOM, Air Staff, and combatant command assignments. Prior to assuming command at F.E. Warren, he served as the Inspector General for Air Force Global Strike Command, overseeing independent inspections and reporting directly on matters affecting readiness, discipline, and mission effectiveness.
Beginning his Air Force career as an enlisted Airman before commissioning through Officer Training School, Colonel Holmes is a Master Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Operator with over 5,000 nuclear alert hours supporting U.S. Strategic Command operations. His leadership has been recognized at the highest levels, including being named the Air Force Nuclear Operations Field Grade Officer of the Year. He holds advanced degrees in aerospace management, space studies, and national security and strategic studies.
Chief Master Sergeant Mosley serves as the primary advisor to Colonel Holmes and the commander of the 90th Missile Wing. She supports over 4,200 personnel who provide nuclear combat capability at 15 missile alert facilities, maintaining 150 Minuteman III missiles on constant alert. Chief Mosley enlisted in the Air Force in 2001 as a Munitions Systems Technician and has since held leadership positions at the squadron, group, wing, and Major Command levels, with assignments across the United States, South Korea, Germany, Guam, and the Middle East.
Chief Mosley has deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, Freedom’s Sentinel, and Spartan Shield. She previously served as Senior Enlisted Airman for Space Launch Delta 30 at Vandenberg Space Force Base, overseeing the readiness and development of 2,500 Airmen and Guardians responsible for assured access to space and ICBM test missions. She holds an MBA, multiple associate degrees, and has completed senior-level military education and leadership programs. Her awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with multiple oak leaf clusters, and numerous Air Force commendations.
At this luncheon, Colonel Holmes and Chief Mosley will share insights on the 90th Missile Wing’s mission, the importance of nuclear deterrence, and the continued partnership between F.E. Warren Air Force Base and the Cheyenne business community. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the leadership, responsibility, and teamwork required to support one of the nation’s most vital defense missions.
