Experience Franz Schubert's breathtaking song cycle "Wintereisse" on February 7, 2025 at 7:30 pm.
On Friday, February 7 at 7:30 pm Music at St. David's presents bass-baritone Daryl Yoder and pianist Jung-Yoon Lee in a performance of Franz Schubert's song cycle "Wintereisse." Among the pinnacles of art song writing in 19th century Europe, the song cycle plumbs the depths of the human experience, having been written as Schubert was dying.
The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 7:00 pm. A suggested donation of $10-$20 directly benefits the musicians and the music series.
