About this Event

Come hold your friends and explore platonic touch with us!

This is not a facilitated event or workshop, but instead a sweet time to come and get quiet and feel more grounded in community. We're gonna keep the lights down, lay around, and play some sweet songs.

You're welcome to bring a blanket or a li'l pillow, or anything you need to get comfortable, but we'll be on hand to help make the space cozy and you're very welcome to just show up.

This event is strictly platonic and we will all do the work of maintaining a non-sexualized container. Everyone is encouraged to participate at their own comfort, and whether you wanna come hold your friend or partner in a communal space, navigate new touch with new folks, or just be present with us without reaching for touch, you're very welcome here.

Parking & Accessibility

Abide West is located in the studio space located behind Willow Room in Lakewood. The address is 15801 Detroit Avenue. There is free parking behind the building off Brockley Ave, and there's a cute li'l Abide West sign above the correct door towards the back of the building.You'll have to climb just a few steps to get into the building. You can leave your shoes in the hall. The space has a private bathroom, cold water for drinking, and hot water for making tea. There's a quiet room set apart from the main studio should you need to take some space.

We ask that you stay home if you're feeling sick. We run an air purifier in the space during the event, and have KN-95 masks and COVID tests available as well.
